Management
Meet Our Team
Rick is an Arizona native (born in Phoenix), and started his career at his family business in the electrical industry in 1984, spending 18 years with two previous manufacturers representative agencies in Phoenix, as well as a electrical conduit fabrication and custom bending company. During those years, Rick earned his BS in Marketing at Arizona State University (spent one year at Northern Arizona University-Flagstaff). In 2002, Rick opened Apex with a limited linecard and things have grown from there. In 2008 Rick was awarded the “GEM Rising Star” award by Electrical Wholesaling magazine, a popular trade magazine for the electrical distribution channel. Presently Rick maintains a number of accounts and pursues the larger commercial, industrial, utility and mining marketplace for Arizona and Las Vegas. In his off-time he enjoys spending time with his wife Stefanie, either traveling or on Arizona’s lakes and rivers, and supporting every single Arizona college and pro sports team.
Stephanie Chapman – Sales Director

Stephanie was born and raised in Georgia and moved to Arizona in 2010 where she met her husband, Mike, at a concert in Phoenix. They are very busy with their 2 children, Camden (9) and Brooklynn (5). She enjoys music concerts, vacationing at the beach and yoga in her spare time, while also volunteering on the PTO board of the elementary school.
Ashlyn Whittenburg – Inside Sales Manager

Ashlyn joined Apex in 2014, starting her career in Customer Service before moving into Inside Sales and now the Inside Sales Manager position. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development. Outside of work, Ashlyn lives with her husband and 2 year old son. She loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Kelli Candurro – Business Analyst and Office Manager

Kelli has been with Apex since 2011. Originally from New York, Kelli moved to Arizona in 2010 and worked for 15 years as the customer service manager for a PVC manufacturer with expertise in logistics and inventory control. As Business Analyst, she handles all pricing and reporting for the agency as well as overseeing the customer service team.

Angela Hayes – Contractor Sales & Engineering Support

Angela started in the Electrical Industry back in 2008 at a Rep Agency and joined Apex in March 2021. She was raised in North Dakota and moved to Arizona in ’98 – where she graduated school in Tempe. During her spare time, Angela enjoys hiking, paddle-boarding, camping, BBQ’ing, running 5k’s, and spending time with her family.
Sarah Legere

Sarah grew up in Southern California and moved to Arizona in 2016, where she has built both her career and her family. She began in the residential landscape lighting industry before transitioning into electrical distribution in 2023. Outside of work, Sarah’s world revolves around her fiancé, Shayne, and their three children, who keep the family on the go with club softball, girls flag football, and tackle football.
Stefanie Hadland

Stefanie entered the Electrical Industry with a local distributor in 2006 and joined Apex in April 2009. Having spent time as insides sales, Stefanie has been calling on distributors and underground contractors in Phoenix. She is originally from North Dakota and has been in Phoenix since 2001 and enjoys spending time at the river with family and friends. Stefanie and Rick have been married since March 2013.

Allen joined Apex in November 2023, bringing with him 25 years of experience in the electrical industry working for both a manufacturer and a rep agency. A lifelong resident of the St. Louis area, he is a Cardinals baseball fan and enjoys the changes of the seasons in the Midwest. When not working, he is a bbq/grilling enthusiast and enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with his wife, Robin, and his teenage twin children, Grant and Addy.

Charlotte Romero

Charlotte joined the Apex team in 2021 bringing over 15 years’ experience in Customer Service. She joined the Inside Sales team 2 years ago and now is the B-Line Cable Tray Guru. Originally from West Anaheim, CA, she moved to the valley in 2019 to be near family. Charlotte has 2 grown sons, 1 grandson and a Yorkie Poo she adores! She enjoys spending time with family and attending local Rockabilly events with friends, jiving, bopping and strolling!

Diego has over 5 years experience as a manufacture sales rep. in wire & cable industry; covering 13 of the western states in the USA in his tenure at Service Wire Co. Diego is originally from El Paso, Texas; grew up in the south part of Mexico through his adolescent years before moving to Arizona in 2012. Hobbies are golfing, bowling, cooking, attending concerts & watching sports.

Rachael came on board November 2023 with 8 years of experience in the electrical industry spanning from distribution to manufacturing. Born and raised in Chicago home of the deep dish pizza and 2015 world champion White Sox. When Rachael isn’t at work she’s spending time in the weight room with her husband or at home avoiding the heat with her fur babies.

Jackie sanchez - project manager

Jackie started with Apex in 2024. She’s a native of Southern Nevada and lives in Henderson with her husband and their two Pomskies. Her diverse career includes 15 years in sports marketing & sponsorships to various roles in the construction industry. She and her husband enjoy spending time with family and friends; Friday night pizza, cooking at home, traveling, camping & off-roading, and live entertainment. Jackie’s favorite brags are her two successful daughters and their families which include four grandchildren.

Jane joined the Apex team in 2019. When she isn’t firing off emails at the office, you could find her exploring the local hiking trails. She also loves spending time at home with her husband and their cats, playing video games, painting, or working on her next craft project.
Kayla Pickett

Kayla has been with Apex since 2021. Kayla is an Arizona native and has worked in customer service for 8 years. She is studying forensic science and hopes to become a Crime Scene Investigator. She enjoys roller skating, spending time with family and friends and hanging out with her dog, Salem.
Stephanie Hannah

Stephanie joined the Apex team in 2023. She enjoys the company of her family, watching sports and being outdoors. She loves to cook and most of all, spending time with her nieces. Stephanie also has a basset hound named Hank.

Hannah joined Apex in 2024 but was introduced to the electrical industry with an internship in 2022. She moved here from the Midwest after having graduated with a Marketing Management degree from the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!). Outside of work, you can find her reading by the pool, working out with friends, or trying a new local coffee shop.

David has been in the electrical industry for over 30 years. He has a diverse background in electrical distribution – both wholesale and retail – as well as experience working for well-known electrical manufacturers and electrical manufacturers agents. Outside of work, he enjoys boating, watching football, playing golf, music and BBQ with the family.
